God Does Not Love Homosexuality !



BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - "A Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) national assembly voted Tuesday to create some leeway for gay clergy and lay officers to serve local congregations, despite a denominational ban on partnered gay ministers."

"Thirteen evangelical caucuses issued a joint statement that the assembly's actions "throw our denomination into crisis." They said this "marks a profound deviation from biblical requirements, and we cannot accept, support, or tolerate it. We will take the steps necessary to be faithful to God," the groups said. But Jesus was cited from the other side, too. Oregon youth delegate Jamie Moon said she found the assembly debate disheartening. She said she became Presbyterian because "Jesus Christ was love. Jesus Christ was acceptance. He said come to me and be my disciple.

Now the Presbyterian Church is going to allow leeway when it comes to homosexuals being ordained. One thing I find interesting, and I comment a lot on, is how man is attempting to mold God into his image rather than molding himself into God's image. Times have changed, but God has not. Yes, God is love. Yes, Jesus did say, "Come to Me." Jesus Christ did accept sinners. He hung around sinners. But He also told them, "Go and sin no more." (John 8:11)

Many like to quote John 8:7, "But when they persisted in asking Him, He straightened up, and said to them, "He who is without sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone at her." The problem is they fail to read the rest of the story. You need to look at verse 11. "And Jesus said, "I do not condemn you, either. Go. From now on sin no more."

What is sin? James 4:17 says, "“Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin."” REPENTANCE causes true salvation, and salvation gives a person the power to live free from sin. Today, America calls evil good and good evil; " ”she puts "“darkness for light, and light for darkness."” (Isaiah 5:20)

One can not come to Jesus, ask for His forgiveness to receive salvation, and continue to willfully sin. HOMOSEXUALITY IS A SIN! In 1 Corinthians 6:9, Paul wrote, "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind." The Greek word from which the King James Bible gets the word "“effeminate" is malakos, which literally means something soft to the touch, but is used as a negative metaphor to refer to a boy kept for homosexual relations with a man. The "“abusers of themselves with mankind"” are those men who engage in unnatural sexual relations with other men ,-– homosexuals. That is also how the NASB, the NKJV, and the NIV translate that verse. Also in the New Testament is verse 7 from the book of Jude, defining exactly why Sodom and Gomorrah were punished -– homosexuality.

In the Old Testament homosexuality was clearly a sin, punishable by death. Leviticus 18:22 reads, "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination." The seriousness of this sin to God is apparent from Leviticus 20:13. "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them." I think that makes very clear God's opinion of homosexuality.

God loves all people, but He hates sin. He desires that everyone choose to come to know Him. The Bible is VERY CLEAR about the need for REPENTANCE, and turning away from our sins to receive salvation. Yes, we all make mistakes and we all sin, but there is a difference between making mistakes and willfully practicing sin.

Those who calpreacherslves prachers and teachers, who are telling others it is okay to be gay and practice homosexuality, will have to answer to God one day. The Bible is very clear in warning us against false teachers and preachers.
  • Matthew 7:15 "Beware of false prophets which come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly they are ravening wolves."
  • Matthew 7: 21-23 "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry."
  • Ezekiel 33:6 "But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand."

Did our Lord not tell us that these things would come to pass, just keep looking for the blessed hope. Rejoice for the Word tells us these are the end times - you know the end, you have read it Praise the Lord.

Precisely! You couldn't be more correct, as I argue on my own blog.
We have moved into an apostate era of Christianity where we are gathering teachers who will speak to our own desires.

In a way we should rejoice! It means that Christ will be coming soon.
