The Cross

Oh The wonderful cross! It is all about the cross. It is all about the blood that Jesus shed. There is so much power in the cross. Power to heal, power to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, forgiveness of sins, salvation, life changing power, power to overcome, hope of everlasting life, peace, joy. All that we need is in the cross. Jesus wants us to lay our worries, cares and troubles of life at the foot of the cross. Jesus, He who knew no sin, became my sin and yours, He took the sins of the world upon His shoulders and layed His life down for us; that we may all live. Under the law, there had to be shedding of blood for the forgiveness of sins. It had to be an unblemished sacrifice. Jesus' blood was the final sacrifice. He was unblemished, without sin. His blood covers our sins and makes us righteous in God's eyes. On the third day HE rose from the dead. I serve a RISEN Saviour. My God is ALIVE not dead. Buddha, Mohammad, Allah, they are all dead! My God is alive and HE hears my cries. He comforts me. He will never leave me or forsake me. Thank You Jesus!!!!!!! He is still in the business of answering prayers, healing the sick and comforting the brokenhearted. His love is everlasting!
