Homosexuality

"But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves. Many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned; and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep. For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to pits of darkness, reserved for judgment; and did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly; and if He condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction by reducing them to ashes, having made them an example to those who would live ungodly lives thereafter; and if He rescued righteous Lot, oppressed by the sensual conduct of unprincipled men (for by what he saw and heard that righteous man, while living among them, felt his righteous soul tormented day after day by their lawless deeds), then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from temptation, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment, and especially those who indulge the flesh in its corrupt desires and despise authority." 2 Peter 2:1-10
"Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God." (1 Corinthians 6:9-11)
Many so called Christian denominations are embracing homosexuality today. Even going as far as allowing gay men and women to be ordained. I think that the verses in 2 Peter speak plainly of things just as this. Man trying to change the Word to fit his needs and desires. The Bible plainly states that those who practice homosexuality will not see the Kingdom of God. Can homosexuals be forgiven? Yes, of course. To sin and practice sin is two different things. When we practice sin we knowingly commit a sin that the Bible says is wrong. If we truly know God and have a relationship with Him, we will not want to practice sin. To say that we are "Christian" and openly practice homosexuality is completely against the Word of God. In the Old Testament those who practiced homosexuality were to be put to death under the law. Under the new covenant, there is forgiveness, but we are not to continue to "practice" homosexuality. I believe the Bible is very clear. HOMOSEXUALITY IS WRONG!!!!!

God made me heterosexual. God does not create someone to be a thief, but they choose to be a thief. God gave us all a free will, and He plainly shows in the Bible that homosexuality is wrong. It is a lie of the devil when people believe they were born that way. God loves the homosexual just as much as everyone else and desires that they receive salvation through Jesus. They too can be forgiven.
