Today is Armed Forces Day. I want to say a big thank you to all of the men and women who serve in the Armed Forces. Thank you for fighting for freedom. Thank you for your dedicated service. May God bless each and every one of you. May He watch over all of you and keep you safe. Keep up the good work! For all of you who are serving in foreign lands, I pray for your safe return. Once again, THANK YOU!
For the rest of us, regardless of whether or not you agree with what is going on in Iraq, those who are there need our prayers and support. President Bush needs our prayers also.
" Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, " (1 Timothy 2:1-3)
